Today I have something completely different: cauliflower! Up until recently, I have never prepared cauliflower myself. In a mission to eat more vegetables that I usually do not use, I created this recipe. I not only use the cauliflower or the florets themselves, but also the leaves. So this is a great no-waste recipe! The cauliflower is baked and the leaves are also added to the oven. Both are seasoned the same way, so totally simple and quick. You can also switch up this recipe easily depending on the spices you like. This dish is amazing as a main if you add a nice dip. But it's also perfect as a side dish. The leaves can be enjoyed as a snack, mixed into a salad or used as soup decoration (check out my Corn soup, Tomato soup or Gazpacho!). Let’s go!
Ingredients for 1 Cauliflower from the Oven:
1 Cauliflower with leaves
60g Cheese (e.g. half parmesan, half feta)
Honey
Chilli
Cumin
Olive oil
Salt, Pepper

1 Cauliflower
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and rinse. Then cut into about 2cm thick slices and place them on a baking tray with baking paper.

60g Cheese · Honey · Chilli · Cumin · Olive oil · Salt· Pepper
Season the cauliflower on both sides with chili, cumin, salt and pepper to taste. Then drizzle with honey and olive oil. Lastly, add the cheese. Then put the cauliflower slices in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes.

Cauliflower leaves · Honey · Chilli · Cumin · Olive oil · Salt· Pepper
Wash the leaves and season with the same spices. Then "massage" the leaves with olive oil and honey. Add them to the oven for the last 10 minutes. Enjoy!
