I'm a huge fan of small desserts that you can make quickly and without much effort when the afternoon cake craving strikes! This mini Lava Cake with white chocolate is a perfect example. I especially like this dessert, because I’ve only ever tried lava cakes with dark chocolate in restaurants and I think white chocolate makes it so much more special. This cake really doesn’t need anything else, however, if you would like to add fruit like berries, it can only make the recipe even better. Serve your Lava Cakes fresh and still hot! Chocolaty, fluffy, delicious and simple. Give it a try and treat yourself!

Ingredients for two mini Lava Cakes:
70g White chocolate
15g Butter
1 Egg
15g Sugar
1tsp Vanilla sugar
30g Flour
Pinch of Salt
Powdered sugar for dusting

70g White chocolate · 15g Butter
Melt the chocolate with the butter in a pot over a water bath, stirring constantly.

Butter · Flour · 15g Sugar · Pinch of salt
Grease the molds with butter and flour them so that the cake can be easily removed later. Beat the egg with sugar and salt in a bowl until foamy.

30g Flour
Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat. Add the chocolate to the batter and mix well. Finally, stir in the flour.

Divide the batter between the molds and bake for 10-12 minutes, then remove from the oven and allow to cool briefly. Carefully remove from molds and place directly onto a plate.

Powdered sugar
Dust the Mini Lava Cake with powdered sugar as desired and serve still warm.
