Summer is officially almost over, but I don't want to let it go so soon! Besides, I think you can eat ice cream all year round, don't you think? That's why today there is a super delicious recipe for refreshing popsicles. Plums are in season, but you can easily swap them for other fruits of your choice. It also tastes great with raspberries or apricots. I love the combination of creamy yogurt, sweet and sour plums and crunchy white chocolate! This is a much healthier alternative to store-bought popsicles! Of course you don't have to use white chocolate at all to make it even healthier. It tastes super good both ways. If you don't own any popsicle molds you can also use empty yogurt cups or glasses. If you are interested in a boozy version of popsicles, have a look at this recipe. Have fun with it and enjoy!

Ingredients for roughly 300ml:

150g Plums (pitted)
150g Greek Yogurt 10% fat
Lemon juice
Honey

Optional:
50g White chocolate

Zwetschgenmus

150g Plums

First cut the plums and blend them.

Joghurt

150g Yogurt · Lemon juice· Honey

Then mix your yogurt with lemon juice and honey to taste.

Eis am Stiel

Popsicle Molds

Fill a spoonful of plum puree and a spoonful of yogurt into the moulds alternately, so that a pattern is created. Add the sticks and freeze for at least 4-6 hours.

geschmolzene Schoko

50g white chocolate

Once the ice cream has been frozen long enough, you can prepare the chocolate. Melt the chocolate in a tall and thick glass over a water bath.

Schokolade tauchen

As soon as the chocolate turns soft, carefully remove the popsicle from the mold and dip it into the chocolate. Let the excess drip off and wait briefly until the chocolate has set. Then put it aside or put it back into the mold. Repeat with all popsicles and enjoy!
