Today I want to free my beloved avocado from the constant task of playing an essential role in almost every dish and give 15 minutes of fame to another green player: the pea. Today's recipe is really simple and tastes incredibly good. At first I thought it needed a lot more spices to make it special. The truth is the flavor is already more than enough with just a little spicing up! Paired with fresh tomatoes and aromatic garlic perfect as an appetizer or even as a healthy snack. I used whole wheat toast, but of course that's entirely up to you. Let's go!
Ingredients pea cream:
100g Peas
1tsp Paprika powder
Balsamic vinegar
Olive oil
Salt
Other ingredients for 4 toasts:
4 Slices of Toast
A few small tomatoes
1-2 Garlic cloves
Olive oil
Pepper

100g Peas · Olive oil · Balsamic vinegar · Salt · 1tsp Paprika powder
First, puree the peas with a blender. Whether you leave them chunky or make a fine cream is up to you. Towards the end, add a dash of olive oil and balsamic vinegar and blend again. Then season with salt and add paprika powder.

Olive oil · Small tomatoes · 2 Garlic cloves
Heat olive oil in a pan and add the tomatoes. Make sure they are covered with oil by stirring and let them brown on all sides. Peel and roughly chop the garlic, then add it to the tomatoes as well.

4 Slices of Toast · Pepper
Toast the toast until crisp and cut diagonally. Spread the pea cream on it and add the tomatoes and garlic on top. Season with fresh pepper and enjoy right away!
