How to make:
Wild Garlic Hummus
All time favorite with a new and seasonal twist
I love hummus and going for delicious variations from the supermarket is of course very convenient. However, you can make my homemade wild garlic hummus faster than you can say store-bought hummus 😉 Not your average hummus recipe, but definitely a welcome change and I'm sure it will become a go-to for your brunches. Ras el Hanout is probably not a spice you already have at home, but the it's worth buying one as it refines every dish and gives a very special taste. It consists of a variety of spices, including ginger, cumin, allspice and cinnamon. You can find it in larger or international supermarkets!
Ingredients for about 300g Hummus:
240g soaked chickpeas
„Water“ of the chickpeas
10ml Lemon juice
1 Handful wild garlic
1 Garlic clove
1tsp Ras el Hanout
240g Kichererbsen · Wasser · 10ml Zitronensaft · Handvoll Bärlauch · 1 Knoblauchzehe · 1TL Ras el Hanout · Salz · Pfeffer
Put all the ingredients, except for the chickpea water, into a blender and puree everything. You may need to gradually add some of the water to get that smooth consistency.
That's it! You can drizzle the finished hummus with olive oil for extra flavor.
This hummus is healthy, tastes fresh and you can easily find the most important ingredient in nature 😊 Enjoy the wild garlic hummus with pita bread, wraps, meat and fish, as an appetizer or for whatever other creative ideas you have!
